On June 29, WIETC Charity Hemophilia Relief Fund Relief Distribution Ceremony was held in the conference room on the 5th floor. Mr. Wang Mingyuan, Director of Weihai Social Relief Service Center and Honorary VP of Weihai Charity Federation, Mr. Liu Shuqing, Deputy Director of the Office of Weihai Charity Federation, and Mr. Li Junhai, Chairman of the Labor Union of the Company, attended the ceremony and distributed RMB 87,800 to 20 patients. This is the 10th consecutive year that WIETC Charity Fund has funded hemophilia patients in Weihai. Up to now, the total expenditure of the relief project has reached RMB 1,067,200 for the help of 170 patients.
In 2012, the Company set up the WIETC Charity Fund in the Weihai Charity Federation, which is used for hemophilia aid in Weihai, aid for rural poor college students, grants for rewarding those who acted bravely for a just cause and other charity projects. Up to now, the Company has injected RMB 4,501,800 into the fund, of which RMB 4,105,800 has been spent subsidizing 327 poor students and 170 hemophilia patients.
At the ceremony, President Wang Mingyuan, on behalf of the Municipal Charity Federation, spoke highly of the Company's active involvement in charity and expressed his heartfelt gratitude. The representatives of the patients also expressed their gratitude to the Company for the assistance. Chairman Li Junhai said the Company and all the staff will continue fulfilling their social responsibilities by helping vulnerable people and contributing their strength for the establishment of a better society, hoping that the patients and their family members can bravely face the disease, transform the love of society into the power to overcome the disease, overcome difficulties with unyielding will and live a better life.
